How do I get my dog onto the dog bed?
Most dogs will begin using a SamsaBed on their own. For those that don’t, place a favorite blanket, towel, or toy on the bed and let them get accustomed to the bed’s presence. This method usually entices them to lie down with something that they already like. Be sure to praise them for staying on the bed and soon they will be using it on their own.

Small - 16"x21" Chihuahua, Corgi, Pug, Min Pin - 5 to 20 pounds
Medium - 22"x29" Cocker Spaniel, Beagle, Shetland - 20 to 40 pounds

	How do I clean the dog bed? Cleaning is simple. All you need to do is take it outside and hose it off. If the dog bed has become dirty, brush it with a mild detergent and hose off again. Some of our clients simply vacuum the dog beds. Will it show hair? That depends on the fabric color you choose and the color of your dog. You will generally see some shedding, but it can easily be removed with a vacuum during normal housekeeping. Can I put it outside? Yes, the SamsaBed dog bed can be kept outside. However, the fabric will usually not last as long when exposed to the sun's ultraviolet rays, and the sling may need to be replaced after 3-5 years (much like lawn chairs). Do I need to add a pillow, towel or blanket? No, most dogs prefer their dog bed without a blanket or towel. However, some dogs do like having their favorite blanket on the dog bed because it holds the scent of their master. Will it hold my dog? The dog beds are very sturdy and we have actually put two adult people on the beds without damage. However, it is important that you get the right size for your dog so that they can stretch out comfortably. Will it sag over time? SamsaBeds do "give" slightly but keep their tightness for a very long time. This is what dogs prefer. Sagging dog beds are the main reason dogs do not take to other types of dog beds. Do I have to put it together? To make shipping easier, we do not attach the legs. But once you receive the dog bed, they can easily be hammered into place within 5-10 seconds. Can I get replacement slings? Yes, the PVC on the dog bed is all done with pressure fits, so all you need is a rubber hammer to take the dog bed apart, replace the sling and put it back together.
